I've decided that I will attempt a 5k walk in Feb 2010. I'm working on a training plan and will post the map and training plan tomorrow.

2 wheat waffles with cream cheese and honey
2 boiled eggs w/o yolks

trail mix

1 sandwich - 2 rye, 2 roast beef, 1 cheese, mustard, hot sauce
trail mix

cinnamon apple sauce
trail mix

1/2 banana

  1. You should try the salad dressing sprays. They offer a lot of flavor and few (if any) calories. Also, try getting the dressing on the side. Dip your fork in the dressing before picking up the lettuce or salad. You'll cut a ton of calories that way.

    Congrats on the 5K. You'll be getting to that distance (3.2 miles)way before then. I haven't walked a 5K event, but I have had dozens of walks that were 5K in length.
