Today's weigh in was 573, which was a 10 pound loss from last weigh in. I'm on track for my 50 pound challenge. I'm going to call the personal trainer today and try to step it up a notch. The swimming really makes a difference. Have a great week!

I think you are doing an absolutely fantastic, amazing job. My doctor told me to take up swimming at the Y, but I haven't had the nerve to get over there yet. But from reading your success, it is very inspirational to me and makes me want to dive right in today!
ReplyDeleteNice job. However, I'm curious as to why you've chosen to weigh in every two weeks. It seems (to me) like a weekly weigh-in would still produce solid numbers but might also give you a more constant motivational kick, plus the ability to make changes if you see things aren't working quite so well.
ReplyDeleteSwimming is a great exercise. It works all muscle groups without putting undue strain on the frame. I think I'm gonna mix things up and do laps today, too. :)
If you need me to be your bogeyman, keep invoking the spirit of mean ol' Jack Sh*t every time you step up to a fast food counter (actually, I'd like you to learn to pack a lunch). I'll be more than happy to be the bad guy if it'll play a role in getting you closer to your goals.
Keep your head up (especially when you're swimming); you are on a great and glorious adventure.
Congrats on a great loss! I hope the personal trainer thing goes well!
ReplyDeleteGood going!
Way to go!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteWow Stephen!! That is fantastic!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great loss :) I'm sitting here laughing at Jack Sh*t's comment! He is definitely a great motivator. I'm waiting until i need a kick in the butt and i'll definitely be asking him!!
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo! Good loss - keep it up (or Jack Sh*t will get ya)!
