Thursday 06/11/09

It was a good day today. Just like James Brown: I Feel Good

I also had a busy day at work to boot. It doesn't get much better than that.

B:
1/2 plain oatmeal + 1/2 maple oatmeal
2 turkey sausage
2 eggs boiled with no yolks

S1:
1/2 wrap

L:
1 wrap (whole wheat tortilla, taco ground turkey, brown rice, mixed beans, and salsa)
protein bar
cucumber, tomato, and ranch dressing

S2:
none

D:
2 wraps (same as above with a little ranch)
mixed greens and black eye peas

W:
3 cups water

E:
none

  1. Wow...real high protein today! Your diet is looking better every day. How are you feeling? Good energy? I like the way you are easing yourself off the heavy carb load you were on...

    I have the feeling you are not getting as hungry as you once were, because you are now missing more snacks than last week. This is a very good sign... proteins and low glycemic (high fiber carbs like whole wheat and veggies) carbs really help with this...

    Great work...so far you have had a stellar week!

    Sometimes I eat bananas. This weekend I might get some apples. What fruit do you like. My forbidden fruit is watermelon. Once I start eating watermelon, I can't stop until it's all gone.

    Watermelon is a fat free food, a fruit, and virtually all water! So pick a small one, share with a friend and enjoy. You are doing an amazing job!
