Tuesday 06/09/09

I had a busy day. First, I got a haircut. Then I went to the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce Luncheon (that's why I had the tasty, yet unhealthy lunch). Finally, I did some work stuff in the afternoon.

In the evening when I was playing around on the computer, I started drifting off to sleep. So I gave up and went to bed without posting. Now, here I am posting this morning.

Today I have a few service calls. Then I will swim in the afternoon. I forgot to mention on Monday that I bought some cheap waterproof headphones that came with an ipod pouch, and I also purchased a really cheap portable am/fm radio. The headphones are awesome. My swimming workout on Monday went by super quick. By the way, I have an Ipod but I didn't want to risk getting it wet in that cheap waterproof case.

I hope you have a good Wednesday.

  2. Hi Stephen, we have a lot in common. I also have a computer business and am trying to get into shape. I am in Houston, TX.

I swim and ride a bicycle, and of course watch my diet. I have lost about 15 pounds so far. You may need to take more off before you can bicycle or run, so I think that swimming is a great idea for you.

It's OK to have the occasional not-so-healthy meal. You just have to go back to the plan the next time, and things will work out.

Great job on losing 70 pounds already.

  3. I so desperatly want to ride a bike. I rode a bike growing up, and I miss it a lot.

I'm happy to see another computer person here. Thank you for visiting. I am following your blog now.

I wish you a busy week.

    Stephen

  4. You and I have something else in common. Despite our starting sizes, we still found ways to remain active in our communities. Many people that weigh five and six hundred pounds barely get out of the house and some can't. We're a couple of the lucky ones.
I'm with you on the bike thing. I loved to ride as a kid, haven't since. That's also on my list of things to do someday real soon!

I enjoy your blog Stephen, keep up the amazing job!

  5. Stephen,

Good job on Tuesday. Your bad lunch was no so very bad. The good thing is you didn't go crazy on the rice, so good for you! Tomorrow you will go back to your new way of eating and you are just fine.

Every once in a while you must give yourself permission and don't beat yourself up about it. You have a great attitude about things and you will be fine.

    Have a great Thursday!
