Today I am very proud about what I accomplished: I walked one whole mile. This morning I had a meeting from 7am to 8:30am. After that I walked. I was determined to walk a mile, and it really was not that difficult. I took a bottle of water because it's so hot outside, and when I got tired, I would stop for a second. There was no pain muscle wise. It was a much better workout than swimming. I was really, really sweaty afterwards. I'm thinking about switching over to walking instead of swimming. Well, I might still swim once a week because it really works out my arms.
One final note, Strawberries in the oatmeal are AWESOME! Incredible flavor, and they weren't that pretty.

ReplyDeleteA MILE? Holy flippin' cow! That is seriously an accomplishment and I am totally jumpin' up and down for you! I remember my first mile, I never thought I would do something like that!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you got into the strawberries on the oatmeal. It's my favorite too! Don't forget to keep adding the protein powder too. Protein is king, especially if you are exercising (walking a whole mile, that is awesome!)
