Weekly weigh-in: 536 lbs.
Loss: 19 lb.
Total loss: 96 lbs.
Emotion: happy
All that work last week paid off. I kept my sodium at 1700 mg per day or less (or I tried to keep it as close to that as I could.)
I'm ready to knock out another good week.
Next week I should be at the 100+ pound loss milestone. I am excited.
Have a great week.

ReplyDeletewow...I knew it would be a GREAT weigh in...but you did even better than I had hoped for you. Your a beast...keep up the great work!!!
ReplyDeleteSteven. You've done incredible things. Measurement is everything and persistence pays off. Keep arriving at conclusions through your journey. This lesson (Sodium counts). The next thing will be understanding more and more about the effect of exercise,, then the tough one is this,.. the smaller (lighter) you get, the less food you will need. That means making caloric adjustments.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing well. Congratulations.

Stephen, I believe it's time for some more progress pictures!
ReplyDeleteHoly shit. Wow! Congrats on the loss, and on circling the 100 pound mark!
ReplyDeleteThat is incredible! But remember I told you that you could easily get double digits if you cut out all the sodium & carbs...you see it now, right? Your body really stores the water, which says to me how efficient your body is at neutralizing and trying to maintain homeostasis. Next week you may well have similar losses, so please stay doing exactly the same thing and you will be shocked. Keep up the excellent progress!
ReplyDelete19 pounds is amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, Stephen! Congrats on the HUGE loss!

ReplyDeleteHolysnotrockets. That is a lot in a week... damn!!
ReplyDeleteits all been said, but i wanted to root you on. plateaus, problems, issues...thye work themselves out when you keep trying. you'll keep learning and finding things to tweak as time goes on. this is proof right here! im really proud of you and keep it up!
ReplyDeleteRight on man! Well done.
ReplyDeleteI've lost hundreds of pounds over the years, put them back on and them some, back and forth, etc. I've tried all kinds of different approaches around diet and exercise, but one thing I'd never even considered was sodium. I know I have high blood pressure, so what you said about sodium last week struck home, so starting this last Saturday I've been shooting for roughly 1700 mg a day. I realize now I must have been eating 3-5 thousand a day before, and when I was binging who knows, 10,000? Brutal.
Thanks to you for your mentioning that as I am very glad that I'm now doing something about it.
Anyway, big time tip of the hat to you sir on your huge loss and one giant leap towards the 100 lb loss mark. Excellent!
Here's to another great week!
hurray! superb loss, loving your good work, keep it up! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow...do yo thang!!!
