Finally Worked Out

I was finally able to get a workout in. I did 2 sets of 12 modified pushups and squats. Also, I did 1 set of 12 Arnolds with 20 lb dumbbells.

Andy worked out on the Bowflex. We are missing 2 cables for the overhead bar, and I'll get those ordered today.

I have got to establish a routine for my workouts. I haven't been working out recently because of back problems and strep throat. - I've got that 5k on 10/10/09.

  1. Be careful with the squats, I started workout last week (450 lbs) and did about 15-20 squats with 80 pounds of weights, and I literally couldn't walk for two days.

    Make sure you work yourself up to a comfortable level slowly! Congrats on breaking in the bowflex

    Good for you for getting a workout in when you feel like crap. That is hard to do!

    Have you heard about the WALK FROM OBESITY? It generates awareness of Obesity, especially morbid and childhood obesity. Walks have been organized all over the country. My DH and I are doing the one in CT on Oct 3. Check out their website for info.

  8. Sounds like a good workout! Do they have any preset routines that they suggest with the Bowflex? Maybe you could follow one of those.
